Connor's Thoughts

I'm sorry that I haven"t been doing any talking lately.  You all need to understand that I am now 2 years old and that makes me a terrific two(s) kind-a-guy.  I am trying hard to talk to everyone that will listen.

I am saying words like:

  • ouside
  • nandpa and nanma
  • whasup
  • Matt
  • daddy
  • baby
  • love
  • kisses
  • yellow
  • up
  • down
  • potty
  • wiggles
  • blues
  • no
  • ball
  • basket
  • mommy
  • juice
  • off
  • on
  • mom
  • zoom - zoom
  • car

Must be a thousand words I can say.  I'm not only handsome - I'm smart.

Daddy and I go ouside and play basketball.  He either holds me up and I score or he brings the basket down to me and I score.  It is so fun to score.  I am a better shot than grandpa.

I had so much fun last week.  They are trying to teach me to go potty.  I love to tease them and say potty then not do anything, but once it happened.  I mad a cute little tur-ed in the bottom of the potty.  Everyone clapped and shouted.  I thought it was fun, but a few days later I didn't say potty and I had to go so I did it in my pants.  There was so much that Daddy had to take my pants ouside and wash them with the hose.

Last week we went out for pizza.  Grandpa came late after we were finished.  He grabbed Mason and his carrier and said he was "going to steal Mason."  I was so mad that I screamed "NO!!!  NO!!!  NO!!!" and grabbed the carrier and wouldn't let Grandpa take him.  Grandpa said he was sorry but I don't believe him.  I don't trust Grandpa anymore. (Well maybe just a little bit.)  Every time he's around I keep him away from Mason, and I won't ride home from Church with him, either.  He's still fun - but I have to keep an eye on him from now on.

We visited my Rose Garden at the Independence Visitor's Center a couple of weeks ago, I don't know if Mom has posted the picture yet, but if she hasn't, you guys need to ask her to get it on.

By the way, I can run real fast.  Nobody can keep up with me.  And I love to play everything.  I can wear out all the adults around here.  Time for reinforcements.

Thank you Grandma Paula for coming to visit.  I had fun with you at Adam-on-diomen, Jamesport, and Nauvoo.  How come you left so soon - did I wear you out, too?
