Weight 25 pounds, Height 31 inches, Oxygen level was 100% :)

All in all they said he looked very good and was gaining weight perfect. He was taking 3 Creon 5 enzymes, but is now taking 4 Creon 5. They are sending us bottles of Creon 10 so instead of 4 pills, he will take 2 of the Creon 10's.

They also showed us other ways we can help get the mucus out with a yoga ball, or little trampoline. Ways to have fun and bounce to do the treatment. Also they said that they are getting a little vest in the clinic in the next month or two. They said we could try it on him and see how he likes it, and maybe do the paperwork to try to get one. YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! That would be great! That vest will help so much! So hopefully it will all work out. It takes awhile to work everything out with insurance. Because it costs so much. Close to $16,000. But most insurances will pay for it, because they end up saving a lot of money in the long run with less hospital stays etc. So pray that will all work out.

The also did a chest X-ray, a throat culture, and lots of blood work. I hate the blood work because I am holding Connor down the whole time. And it took forever because they wanted to fill 5 vials and after 3 his vein was collapsing they said. So they were pushing on his poor little arm to help open it back up. And he was screaming the whole time. I hate to hear him in pain. In about a week I will get a call from them with the results of all the tests. PRAY that his cultures come back clear :) I hope they do. I try so hard to keep bacteria and germs away from him. I will let you know.

Lots of love going out to you all!!!!

RE: Connor had his CF clinic visit today...

My sweet little grandson Connor:

I'm so glad that today your visit to the Dr. was such good news for all of us to read about.  Every day there are so many prayers that plead with your Heavenly Father to help mommy and daddy with whatever they need with you and their lives, and, especially to help you breathe easier and continue to be as happy as you are.  I'm sorry for what you had to go through though.  You learned early that giving blood is not a fun thing.  Your mommy didn't like it either when she was little.  She had asthma really bad and they always took her blood.  As they would do it, she would scream "BLOOOOD, BLOOOOD, BLOOOOOOOD" as loud as she could.  I know that holding you while your blood was taken was very hard on her.  Your mom and dad are so good at taking care of you and keeping you away from any and all the germs that they possibly can.  You are so lucky to have the parents that you do that your health is their #1 concern.  We all love you so much.  I can't wait for the day that you can read this and understand it yourself.  Right now, I write it because it is what my heart is feeling and I want you to know it as I feel it.

Being 2,000 miles away from you is hard on me.  I have little Uncle Dylan at home who is 7 years old and keep me very busy.  Aunt Robynne lives here too, but she works alot and goes to college.  Unlce Jeremy works for me and Papa Jay, and I see him every other day.  So, with our business and the kids, I'm very busy, but my thoughts and prayers are constantly with you and your mom and dad.  Your picture is in our living room and we look at it all the time.  Every time I talk to mommy, I ask her to give you lots of kisses and hugs from me.  I even get to talk to you on the phone, and you make lots of noises, but mainly want to eat the phone and get quite upset when mommy takes the phone away.  Uncle Dylan sent you his play real phone because of your love of phones.  We hope you are having fun with it.

Keep growing up as wonderful as you are and continue impressing  your doctors and  nurses with how well you are doing.  And, we are all praying that you are able to get the vest that mom was telling us all about.  With Heavenly Father's help, all things are possible.  I am also hoping and praying that you, and your new little brother and mommy get to come out  during the summer to be closer to daddy if he gets his internship in Las Vegas.  It will be so much fun, especially with a new little baby brother.  Mommy will have so much help with the two of you.  I'm so excited and Dylan hopes it does happen too.

We love you so much Connor,

Grandma, Papa Jay, Dylan, Jeremy, Robynne & Jason
