No. Connor has two mutations (one from me, one from Matt). They are both the Delta F508 mutations and this is the most common mutation. Most people don't know how mild or severe their form of CF will be. Although Connor is well now, CF is a progressive disease. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? (But, who knows what anyone's tomorrow will bring?) That's why that the precautions we take for him are so vital. I also must say that, although we do take certain precautions, Connor is a normal little boy. He just happens to have CF. He will be raised "normally" (as normally as possible). We do not dwell on the fact that he has CF and neither will he. He will grow up knowing that God has a plan for him. Yes, he has a life threatening disease, but he also has the gift of knowing that tomorrow isn't always a guarantee. Not for him or me or anyone. He will know to "never take a single breath for granted". He will never take ANYTHING granted.
So, to answer my question...no one knows the severity CF will have on each person.
